Our Story - ChillyPup and Mila
Hi, we’re Elliott and Hannah, based in Newport, South Wales – and proud parents to Mila, our energetic 8-year-old French Bulldog.
If you know Frenchies, you’ll know they don’t do things by halves. Mila loves chasing balls, exploring the hills, and being at the centre of everything we do.
Like many dog owners, we found it surprisingly difficult to find products that genuinely worked. From cooling solutions in warmer months, to comfortable harnesses for daily walks, or toys that could actually withstand muddy adventures – too many products simply didn’t live up to expectations.
As Mila has got older, she’s also started to experience stiffness in her back legs from arthritis. We didn’t want that to slow her down or take away the things she loves, which led us to explore more supportive solutions like red light therapy to help keep her comfortable, active, and enjoying life.
That journey changed everything.
ChillyPup was built from a simple idea – if something works for Mila, it’s worth sharing with other dog owners.
We’re a small, family-run business focused on carefully sourcing products that are practical, reliable, and genuinely useful in everyday life. No gimmicks, no overpromising – just products we trust and use ourselves.
While we’re proudly based in South Wales, we work with trusted suppliers to deliver our products to dog owners across the UK. Every item is chosen with comfort, quality, and real-life use in mind – and many are tested and approved by Mila before making it onto our website.
Today, ChillyPup offers a growing collection of Mila’s favourite finds – from cooling vests and walking accessories to enrichment toys, calming products, red light therapy, and seasonal essentials.
At the heart of it all is one goal: helping dogs stay happy, comfortable, and active for as long as possible.
